Dr. Gould completed his undergraduate studies from Luther College in Iowa and then went on to the Illinois College of Optometry where he graduated in 1978. After graduation Dr. Gould had a private optometric practice in Iowa until 1987 when he joined Whylie Eye Care Center as an optometrist and director of professional services for their group of fourteen offices. Dr. Gould received the American Optometric Associations Optometric Award five consecutive years from 1980 through 1984. He is a member of the Heart of America Contact Lens Society (1978-2006), a provider for the Infant-See program and has special interests in diabetic eye care and sports vision. Dr. Gould joined Riemer Eye Center in 2006 and provides services at our Manistee and Ludington locations.
